Is this an emergency ambulance service?
No. For emergencies dial 113 (Latvian NMPD). We are non-emergency medical transport - scheduled transfers, hospital discharge, airport transfers, intercity.
Do you accept international insurance?
Yes. We provide invoices in English with EU VAT. We work with major travel insurance companies and medical tourism coordinators. Direct billing available for established partners.
Is the vehicle equipped for wheelchair or stretcher?
Yes. We operate proper medical transport vehicles with ramps, securing systems, and oxygen support when needed. Wheelchair-accessible by default.
How early should I book?
Minimum 1 hour for Riga area. For airport transfers from hospital - ideally 24 hours before discharge time. Same-day bookings often possible.
Do you operate at night and weekends?
Order acceptance daily 7:00-21:00. Night trips by prior arrangement (00:00-06:00).
What about ground transport after air ambulance arrival at RIX?
We coordinate with air ambulance companies routinely. RIX bed-to-bed handoff to receiving hospital. Just send us flight details and destination hospital ahead of arrival.
